NOTE: This statement was correct at the time it was issued. We will continually monitor the changes in advice from Government and constantly review our practices.

Our Updated Procedures

Whilst we are really pleased to see that restrictions have come to an end, we are going to be exercising caution when it comes to work on location and will likely continue to enforce our Covid-19 policy as stated below, as well as any other action we deem necessary to manage risk.

Our priority is always to ensure that our staff and members of the public remain safe and we do everything possible to manage any risk.

We will continue to monitor Government advice on a daily basis.

Statement From RBTV Regarding Coronavirus

Prior to filming or carrying out interviews, our equipment is carefully cleaned prior to leaving the office, as is any company vehicle. Company vehicles are sanitised with a specialist cleaner, especially where surfaces and door handles are concerned, both inside and outside of the vehicle.

Equipment bags and vehicles are stocked with plenty of gloves and hand sanitiser. Staff are required to wash their hands frequently and especially before and after meeting with any clients or entering and leaving any buildings.

This process will also be repeated in between jobs.

Staying COVID-19 Secure

Rebel Boy TV has completed a COVID-19 Risk Assessment for office based work and we also carry out a risk assessment for each job that requires us to work on location.

We can confirm that we have:

  • Carried out a COVID-19 risk assessment and shared the results with the people who work here
  • Produced cleaning, handwashing and hygiene procedures in line with guidance
  • Taken all reasonable steps to help people work safely from a COVID-19 Secure workplace or work from home
  • Taken all reasonable steps to maintain a 2m distance in the workplace
  • Ensured at least a 1m distance is kept to where people cannot keep 2m apart and have taken all the mitigating actions possible to manage transmission risk

Our staff must wear masks when coming into contact with members of the public, and should remain at least 2 meters away, ensuring that all social distancing rules are strictly adhered to. We will also ensure that we keep the number of people we are in contact with, to an absolute minimum.

NHS COVID-19 Contact Tracing

All company mobile phones have the NHS COVID-19 Contact Tracing App installed. Bluetooth is kept switched on. Where available, staff will use the 'Venue Check-In' option.

We shall continue to monitor any Government advice and we will update our practices accordingly.

Please continue to monitor our website for updates to this policy.

For more information on the NHS COVID-19 Tracing App, please visit the NHS Website at https://www.nhs.uk/apps-library/nhs-covid-19/. The app is available to download on both the Google and App Store - Click on the link to download.

If you have experienced any symptoms of COVID-19 and we are due to interview you face to face or visit your premises, please contact us immediately.
